The alpha

Mexican Grey Wolfs are considered federally endangered. The wolf depicted in this painting is kept in captivity at the Wild Canid Survival and Research Centre, USA.
I’ve used a monochromatic abstract background, created with chaotic brush strokes, encompassing the wolf in my painting create a seemingly clinical atmosphere which Joel Sartore evokes through his flat black or white backgrounds in his photography.
